New Technology Permits Fast, Accurate PCB Inspection to Verify Quality of Manufacturing Process

SenDEC Corporation today announced the addition of x-ray inspection to it’s line of services used in the design and manufacturing of electronic products. X-ray inspection is used most often with the inspection of advanced electronic packages. It allows the operators the ability to see though electronic components to evaluate the success of the manufacturing process.

The x-ray system will be used primarily for 1st piece inspection and trouble shooting of electronic assemblies produced by SenDEC for various customers. Craig Hoffman, SenDEC Vice President & General Manager, expects this added capability to enhance and increase production efficiencies, "SenDEC has been working with advanced electronic packages for a number of years. However, we contracted out of state for the x-ray inspection. Doing this added days to the production process. By performing the inspection in-house, we can reduce the production time and the production cost and pass the savings on to customers.”
