SenDEC Named 68th in Nation — #3 in New York State for ManufacturingInc 5000

ORLANDO, FL & FAIRPORT, NY — August 30, 2011 — API Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ:ATNY) (“API” or the “Company”), a provider of electronic systems, subsystems, RF, and secure systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial applications, announced today that its SenDEC /Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)  Division was ranked for the fourth consecutive year on Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000” list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.  SenDEC was acquired by API Technologies earlier this year. SenDEC ranked 68th in the U.S., 3rd in New York State, and 2,267 overall among the fastest-growing manufacturing companies for 2010.
