SenDEC Donates Christmas Gifts to Help Local Families Dealing With Cerebral Palsy

This holiday season SenDEC employees again opened their hearts and their wallets to help those in the community that are less fortunate than themselves. SenDEC helped 5 local families dealing with the daily challenges of Cerebral Palsy by purchasing Christmas gifts to help fulfill the family’s holiday wishes.  This is the 6th year that SenDEC has worked with CP Rochester in support of the Augustin Children’s Center program. “Over the last 6 years SenDEC employees have raised nearly $10K and helped almost 30 families in our community.” said Kenton Fiske, President and CEO of SenDEC.  “It is one of our company’s core values to give back to the community and I couldn’t be more proud of the generosity shown by our employees and knowing that we are bringing happiness to others during this holiday season.”

One of SenDEC’s core values is “Duty to Community” and the SenDEC employee family has a long history of supporting organizations and individuals that help others as well as giving back to those who have helped us. Many of the community service initiatives SenDEC participates in are employee driven.  In addition to being a proud supporter of CP Rochester, SenDEC actively participates in the Advent House, the Small Business Council of Rochester’s Thanksgiving Basket drive, Breast Cancer Walk, Al Siegel Center fund raising, the Dream Factory, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge which support numerous worthy not-for-profit organizations and several other organizations in SenDEC’s local community.
