SenDEC Ranks 23rd in the Nation For Fastest Growing Privately Held Manufacturers
Inc. Magazine has published its 2007 list of the fastest growing privately held companies in America - the Inc. 5,000.
This year, SenDEC ranked #940 overall and was 23rd in the nation for the manufacturing sector and ranked 3rd in the state of New York.
The Inc. 5,000, introduced this year, is an extension of the magazine's traditional Inc. 500 and seeks to catch many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500 as well as smaller firms. This format change included a lower revenue prerequisite being required to make this year's list and allowed a large number of smaller companies to be recognized this year. The timing of this change was unfortunate for SenDEC, and other rapidly growing companies our size since our three year growth rate of 373% would have ranked us well within the Inc. 500 last year using the 2006 criteria.
Regardless, we are honored to be recognized by Inc. Magazine and wish to thank our loyal customers and employee family for making this recognition possible.
